Brooke Snow, LPCC-S

Originally from Illinois, Brooke completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Illinois - Springfield in 2017. She has an extensive background in working within the mental health field first as a behavioral health technician at various mental health hospitals until obtaining her license. In 2018 she began working in both private practice and college counseling centers within the Springfield/Dayton area.

    Rates are determined based on intervention strategies, individual vs couple/family sessions, and length of session.

  • Please complete the contact form to request an appointment with information regarding needs in services and if you will be utilizing insurance or self-pay options. Once received, I will respond with my booking link and general availability.

  • Yes, I accept most insurance plans.  Currently I am in-network with: Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United Healthcare/Optum, United Medical Resources, and Cigna

  • My standard rate for private pay appointments is $165 per session.  Clients in need of financial assistance are encouraged to reach out with concerns. Clients currently enrolled in college are eligible for a service discount with proof of enrollment.

  • Our first appointment will focus on primary concerns and goal setting. I will ask a variety of questions regarding your concern areas as well as general health and social history.  There is no such thing as “too much information” during this appointment. Whatever you feel comfortable sharing is helpful in guiding the treatment plan.  Goals for therapy will also be discusses as well as expectations you have for me as a provider. If it is helpful to come with a list of topics to discuss, questions, or goals you have considered that is completely fine! Sometimes we are unable to complete an initial appointment in one scheduled session, in this case we will make note of incomplete assessment needs and follow-up in our next appointment.

  • My license does not permit me to prescribe medications for clients.  However, I am happy to assist clients in finding healthcare providers within their insurance network.
